Meet our new Equine Manager at Lollypop Farm, Steven Stevens!
Steven recently moved to New York from Texas, where he and his wife owned Stevens Natural Horsemanship. Steve has published articles in numerous publications including Horse and Rider magazine and wrote a blog “The Natural Horseman” for North Texas Farm and Ranch Magazine. Steven taught over a hundred horsemanship clinics ranging from connection work, trail riding, obstacles and colt starting. Steven has given lessons in building confidence and working on the connection with the horse for the past two decades. In total, Steven has worked with and trained over a thousand horses.
Steven has dedicated his life to being an advocate for the horse, specializing in starting and rehabilitating the horse. His mission is to bring awareness to the beauty and healing power of the horse.
Steven is excited to be at Lollypop Farm where he can continue his passion of helping humans with horses and horses with humans! His goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the amazing horses that come to the shelter. He also looks forward to teaching and working with the community.
