Birthday Party FAQs

• What kind of animal will we be able to meet at the party?

  The animals at Lollypop Farm are constantly changing as we actively work to help homeless pets find a new home. Living in an animal shelter can be very stressful for some animals, and their safety and happiness are our main concerns when selecting animals to participate in our Petacular Parties. Our Humane Education team works with the Animal Care team to select animals who are social and interested in visiting with children. Typically, birthday guests will meet a small animal (rabbit, guinea pig, bearded dragon, etc.).

• What is the maximum number of guests?

  For the Hip Hop Hooray and Party With A Purpose packages, the maximum number of guests is 12, including adults and the birthday child. The Behind-the-Scenes Lollypop Farm Experience is limited to 4 guests or fewer.

• I have to invite my child’s entire class. Can I pay for additional guests?

  Unfortunately, no. Due to space restrictions and for the safety and comfort of our animals, parties have a maximum capacity of 12 total guests.

• How is the Birthday Party structured?

  Behind-The-Scenes Experience:
  During your Behind-the-Scenes Lollypop Farm Experience, one of our humane educators will give you a private tour tailored to see all the parts of Lollypop Farm that you want to see! Visit the cats in the Day Lily Cat Adoption Center or say hello to the rabbits and guinea pigs in the small animal adoption room. Maybe stop in the Klingenstein Veterinary Clinic to meet our clinic resident Pengu the cat, or visit our indoor barn to see what new farm friends are here at Lollypop Farm! With a Behind-the-Scenes Lollypop Farm Experience, you get to choose your own adventure, and you’re sure to meet plenty of new friends along the way!

  Hip Hop Hooray:
  The Hip Hop Hooray package consists of 60 minutes of activities followed by 30 minutes of room rental for pizza, cake, presents, etc. Our humane educators will select several fun, age-appropriate games and activities for you and your child to choose from. These may include Lollypop Farm Bingo, animal-themed crafts, pet bandana decorating, making dog treats, and much more! Have any special requests? Let us know and we’ll do our best to make your child’s birthday purrrfect!

  Party With A Purpose:
  The Party With A Purpose package consists of 90 minutes of activities followed by 30 minutes of room rental for pizza, cake, presents, etc. Your party host will take you and your guests on a private tour of Lollypop Farm. You can tour the small animal adoption center, Day Lily Cat Adoption Center, Halle Poliseni Dog Adoption Center, outdoor farmyard, or all of the above! Our humane educators will select several fun, age-appropriate games and activities for you and your child to choose from. These may include Lollypop Farm Bingo, animal-themed crafts, pet bandana decorating, making dog treats, and much more! Have any special requests? Let us know and we’ll do our best to make your child’s birthday purrrfect!

• Can we bring our pet from home?

  While Lollypop Farm is a pet-friendly organization, we do not recommend bringing your pet from home to the Petacular Party.

• What does the birthday family need to bring to the party?

  (For Hip Hop Hooray and Party With A Purpose packages only) We will decorate your private party room, host the party, and take care of clean-up. Families are invited to bring any food, drinks, paper products, and utensils, as we do not provide these. Families may also choose to bring additional decorations to personalize the party room.

• Can we have food delivered?

  Of course! When ordering, simply tell the delivery person to bring the food to the front desk at Lollypop Farm. Our front desk team will notify the party that the food has arrived.

• How early can the birthday family arrive?

  (For Hip Hop Hooray and Party With A Purpose packages only) You are welcome to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled party time to set up and do any additional decorating you would like.

• How do I make the payment?

  We collect a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to officially reserve all Petacular Parties. We will then be in touch to confirm your date/time, and any additional information needed prior to the party.

  Final payments are due the day of the party. Your party host will assist with the payment process.

• What ages can have a birthday party at Lollypop Farm?

  Behind-the-Scenes Lollypop Farm Experience: Ages 5+
  Hip Hop Hooray: Ages 5+
  Party With A Purpose: Ages 8+

• What can we do if we would like guests to make donations instead of bringing gifts?

  We are so grateful for donations, as Lollypop Farm is solely funded by private donations! Your support helps us continue to care for homeless animals and run important outreach programs for members of our community. Thank you for considering donating.
  Guests are welcome to bring items from our shelter wish list.
