Right now, Jackson is recovering in a loving foster home, but that wasn’t always the case. Like playful pups tend to do, Jackson got a little too rambunctious for his own good. The result was a severe break to his leg. Unable to provide Jackson with the care he needed, his family decided to surrender him to Lollypop Farm for emergency veterinary treatment.
That was back in October.
The road to a new home is not always as short as we would like. Saving Jackson’s leg meant surgery beyond that which we could provide in our veterinary clinic. Our veterinarians teamed up with Cornell Veterinary Hospital. The cost of Jackson’s $4,000 surgery was covered by a generous animal foundation, but it’s really you Jackson has to thank.
