For the second year in a row, our Be Kind to Animals Art Show has gone digital! This year we invited kids and animal lovers of all ages to help us celebrate Be Kind to Animals Week (May 2 – 8). Our artists got creative at home and at school and helped spread the word about being kind to pets in our community. We love all of these submissions so much, and thank each and every one of you who participated!
We have so many favorite pieces, but here are just a few examples of some great works of art! The complete art show can be viewed here.
This cute piece was drawn by Allison M., (8th Grade). We love that she chose to incorporate a farmyard friend! Be Kind to Animals Week applies to all animals, not just our house pets.
Mackenzie B. thought outside the box (literally!) with this create cardboard art, again featuring a farmyard friend! We love the 3D approach she applied to this creative task – the little farm pig is just too cute!
This adorable work of art was created by Frank P., a local Kindergarten student. We love that Frank already understands the importance of grooming pets, and chose to represent this in his creation. Great job, Frank!
This adorable portrait was created by Kim D.! We loved seeing submissions by not just local kids, but animal lovers of all ages!
We thoroughly enjoyed looking through each and every submission for the Be Kind to Animals Digital Art Show, and thank every talented artist who sent in their work! We hope you enjoy exploring the artwork as much as we did, and feel inspired by their messages about being kind to animals of all types.
