What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to fill out the form that will pop up once you click the "Ask About Meeting Me button". From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.

Mr. Bear is a 2-year-old dog with a sensitive soul and a heart full of potential. While much of his past remains a mystery, what we do know is that he is a nervous boy who will need a patient and understanding family to help him feel safe and secure. He is looking for a home that can offer him the time and space he needs to decompress and come out of his shell. Once Mr. Bear begins to trust, his affectionate personality shines through — he becomes wiggly, playful, and loves to snuggle with the people he feels comfortable with. With the right support and plenty of patience, Mr. Bear will blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
