What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to fill out the form that will pop up once you click the "Ask About Meeting Me button". From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.

Princess Quarters is a sweet little pitty mix that's ready to add some love and loyalty into your life! This girl is the total package: she has a positive history with other dogs *and* children, and she is extremely sweet and affectionate. She isn't a fan of shelter life, and can be a bit timid at first. But, with the help of some snacks and reassurance, P.Q. is on her way to best friendship with just about anyone. This lovely lady is staying in a foster home while she waits to be adopted. Her foster mom reports that P.Q. is a total cuddlebug and gets along great with the other dog in the home.
