What does it mean when a pet has the "Adopt From Foster" banner on their profile?
It means that the pet is lucky enough to spend their time in a foster home until they find a family to call their very own! They can be adopted right from their foster home versus having to be here at the shelter.
Where is this pet actually located?
They are in a loving foster home! All pets who have the "Adopt From Foster" banner will need an appointment in order to meet them. Sometimes, pets are met right in their foster home and other times, they are brought back to the shelter for a meet and greet - each situation may be a little different, but you and that pet's point person will work out those details!
How do I meet them/what is the adoption process?
The first step is to fill out the form that will pop up once you click the "Ask About Meeting Me button". From there, one of our staff members will reach out to you with more information about the pet and how to meet them.

Ms. Margot is an extraordinarily loving, smiley, affectionate, beautiful, and intelligent young lady who is well on her way to becoming a full grown adult. Once comfortable, she is confident and curious and will be the perfect pet for those who can provide her the stimulation she needs. Being a puppy, she oscillates between the high energy state of play and nearly comatose state of sleep—either way she is adorable. Due to Margot's floppiness and energy, she is suggested kids 6+. She loves other dogs and everyone she meets. She is great in her crate, but being a puppy she can’t hold her bladder much longer than 4 hours. She is good about telling us when she needs to go out at night so house training has been relatively smooth. She is food motivated and easy to train, but doesn’t quite know when it’s time to stop playing. Be ready with plenty of toys because she enjoys slowly tearing them apart. A tennis ball is no match for Margot! Overall, Margot is a gorgeous cuddly girl that anyone would be lucky to have in their home.
