RE-HOMING Your Pet
Life can take surprising and difficult turns for all of us. Loss of a job, having to move, allergies, divorce, and even death of a family member can sometimes result in a wonderful pet needing a new home. But you can avoid the shelter, by re-homing your pet on your own, you can create a less stressful and easier transition for your pet.
If you decide to re-home your pet on your own:
Talk to friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, and your veterinarian, as they may know someone who might be interested in taking your pet.
Consider placing an ad in your local paper.
In an effort to help families and individuals who need to rehome a pet, Lollypop Farm is now partnering with Home to Home and Adopt-a-Pet.com to improve our courtesy listings.
