Lollypop Farm Provides Vital Preventative Care through Summer Community Events

Fairport, N.Y. (June 12, 2024) – Lollypop Farm is expanding community outreach efforts by providing free pet care events this summer. In partnership with local community organizations, in the city of Rochester, these events will focus on providing resources like vaccinations and pet food for residents.

The first event will be held on June 12th at the Cameron Community Teen Center Parking Lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include dog vaccines (Rabies and DA-PP) and pet food. Vaccine lines may close early depending on the volume of attendees. The Lollypop Farm team will also have information on other pet resources and activities for kids.

“Community partnerships like these ensure that we can help the most vulnerable animals in the Rochester area,” states Erin Sandle, Admissions & Community Resources Director at Lollypop Farm. “We know that many families are experiencing economic distress right now, along with limited access to veterinary care. By connecting with our community, we can provide vital resources to keep pets with their loving families and out of the shelter.”

Lollypop Farm will also partner with other local community organizations throughout the summer, with additional events still being planned.

  • June 26th from 10 AM – 2 PM at Glad Tidings Church on Culver Rd. – free dog AND cat vaccines (Rabies and DA-PP for dogs, Rabies and FVRCP for cats) and pet food
  • July 16th from 10 AM – 2 PM at The People’s Pantry of Rochester on Avenue D – free dog vaccines (Rabies and DA-PP) and pet food
  • August 27th from 10 AM – 2 PM at Greater Harvest Church on Driving Park Ave.- free dog AND cat vaccines (Rabies and DA-PP for dogs, Rabies and FVRCP for cats) and pet food
