Lollypop Farm Vice-President & COO Adrienne McHargue Earns
Elite Animal Welfare Certification
Fairport, N.Y. (January 19, 2024) – Lollypop Farm Vice-President & COO Adrienne McHargue recently earned her distinction as a Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA).
The CAWA certification is awarded by the Association of Animal Welfare Advancement to professionals committed to excellence in the management and operation of animal welfare and control organizations. To receive this certification, McHargue had to demonstrate proficiency in industry best practices and leadership at an agency dedicated to animal care. Only 350 other individuals in the animal welfare industry, including Lollypop Farm President & CEO Alice Calabrese, have attained this distinction.
“This is a remarkable career achievement,” says Calabrese. “And a representation of Adrienne’s commitment to providing the best care for the animals in our community.”
McHargue has been with Lollypop Farm for over 16 years, currently serving as Vice President and COO, with previous experience as Vice President for Development and Community Affairs, Director of Communications and Outreach, and more. She also received a Woman of Distinction Award in 2023.
