Lollypop Farm Welcomes New Board Members: Jamie Frumusa and Reverend Alton L. Byrd, Sr.

Fairport, N.Y. (July 13, 2022) – Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, has added Jamie Frumusa, APR and Reverend Alton L. Byrd Sr. to its board of directors.

Jamie Frumusa is the Director of Enterprise Communications at Herschend Enterprises, the largest family-owned themed attractions organization in the US – operating world-class brands like The Dollywood Company and the Harlem Globetrotters. Prior to this venture, Jamie held multiple positions over a ten-year span at a Rochester-based marketing communications agency, including Vice-President of Client Strategy & Relations and Public Relations Director. Jamie has been a long-time supporter of Lollypop Farm, from executive communications counsel to the development of the organization’s mission and vision statements, and most recently, as a marketing task force participant.

Alton L. Byrd, Sr. began his ministry in Rochester New York in 1993 at the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Samuel McCree, Jr. Since this time, Reverend Byrd has been dedicated to bringing communities and families together. Over the course of his ministry, he has developed multiple programs to help unite families such as the founding of the Buffalo Chapter of the Father’s Cooperative Groups in 2002. Since being fully Ordained to the Ministry in 2019, Reverend Byrd has continued to work with minorities to bring effective change and policies to end injustices. Most recently, he has established Powerful Minorities Moving Forward, Inc.
