At Lollypop Farm, everything we do is to better the lives of animals through justice, prevention, and life-saving care. Our 2018-2021 strategic plan guides us in this goal and is supported by one of our objectives to provide superior care and save more animals.
Despite unprecedented challenges this year, we’ve been making significant progress by offering unique community opportunities including virtual experiences, remote training classes, and placing as many pets as possible in foster care and ultimately new loving homes.
To continue forward on our path to save even more animals during this difficult time, with limited internal resources, we’re refocusing our efforts where we can make the largest impact. We will be exclusively providing support to special needs animals in our care, the abused and behaviorally challenged, so they too get their second chances.
This means community pet training classes and behavior consultations will not be offered this fall. All in-progress classes will continue as planned. We are in the process of reevaluating behavior and training programming for the future.
