What Can I Expect When I Adopt on Wednesday?
Adoptions will be held by appointment only. We want to find homes for at least 45 cats on Wednesday, while keeping everyone safe. Once appointments are filled for the day we will not be accepting more.
We’ll be playing matchmaker for you! When you make your appointment, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine your purr-fect feline friend. In order to help find homes for as many cats as possible on Wednesday, our counselors are going to be working hard to introduce you to 3 cats in our care that best fit your home’s needs.
Register when you arrive. You will be asked to register at the tent located outside the main lobby entrance. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your appointment with a valid driver’s license ready to go.
Extra safety precautions will be in place to help keep everyone healthy and safe. You will be asked to wear your mask when you come to the shelter. Our staff will take measures to do even more sanitizing and cleaning in between adoptions. If you are showing signs of COVID or been around anyone showing signs, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for another day.
After you find your new best friend, you’ll have a chance to visit our gift shop to get all the kitty toys, treats, and other essentials you need. You’ll then be asked to head to your car and pull up into one of our adoption check out stations. There an adoption counselor will meet you for the necessary paperwork, payment, and of course the newest and furriest member of your family.
