A relatively unknown, but important, service offered by the Humane Society is our Nelson A. Lengeman Pet Cemetery. Located adjacent to the animal shelter, the cemetery provides a scenic final resting place for your beloved pet.

Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, now offers pet owners the option of having their pet's cremated remains interred in our new columbariums. The columbariums are a polished granite structure similar to a mausoleum but intended for cremated remains.

The price for interment is $300 plus the cost of cremation. This includes the container for the ashes as well as a 3" x 5" metal plate inscribed with the pet's name and date that it passed. The niche itself measures 8" x 8" x 10" and should allow the family the option of having one or two other pets placed together. If the family chooses this option at some time in the future, the charge will be $100, which includes an updated marker on the niche. Cremation service is also available.
